A little about Made by Éclat
Hi, I’m Emily, the designer and maker behind Made by Éclat, based in Burton-on-Trent.
After more than ten years making celebration and wedding cakes, I turned my love of creating decorations into a business of its own. I now help home bakers, professional cake makers and anyone decorating a supermarket cake add a thoughtful finishing touch.
I design, print, cut and pack every order myself, with occasional help from family during busy periods. I love matching colours and little details, and believe beautiful, coordinated bakes should be easy and affordable to create.
My story began with Éclat Bakery, making macarons inspired by French patisseries. The name brings together a nod to my initials and that French influence, while my love of beautiful presentation continues in everything I make.
Seeing your photos and knowing my decorations have helped make a celebration special is the loveliest part of my work.
